Holy Cross Hospital, together with La Ciudad Del Niño La Chureca Foundation, has supported 39 missions to the area since it was devastated by Hurricane Mitch in 2000. While the value of these missions cannot be underestimated, salvaging this generation literally from the garbage will take local and continuous effort. Every donation will take La Chureca another step towards the goal of delivering the children from the dump. |   |
